Breaking News: Former Jubaland Security Minister Cabdirashiid Janan has been assassinated in Nairobi

He was reportedly abducted in Nairobi three days ago. The Ugaas suspects this assassination to have been carried out by Kenya's defense minister Aden Duale in coordination with Ahmed Madoobe. The Ugaas says his remains were dismembered and he is unlikely to be seen again.

If true, this will have grave ramifications for the Jubaland region as a clan war can ignite between reer Afmadow and reer Garbaharrey.
