2. Whats the point of complaining about the education levels of 7th world refugees coming from a a multi decade war torn country. Nobody was expecting them to be educated. Typical ultra right wing headline.

3. These numbers don't mean anything without context. Out of all those countries, Somalis are the most reer badiye and nomadic. A good chunk of the older generation weren't born in a city but geed hostis. Their far less likely to have a education than city folk.

i wish people would stop using the term "ans". but spot on about the dugsi comment. I've personally seen with my own eyes somali parents in somalia refusing their kids go to regular school and sending them to dugsi instead. as if the only education they need is in the quran. sadly that trend will not die down. there is a whole generation of somalis around our age or younger who can't read or write in english but have memorized the entire quran.
