If the British do not care about us why did they go out of their way to divide Somaliweyn to the ethiopian and British Kenya? Even the italians planned on leaving Somaliweyn an independent state after 1950 but we're leased it for 10 years until 1960 to ensure a smooth independence.

What bullshit is that? There was always a Somali identity. Majority of ethno based nation states until the 1800s were divided by regional states. As was Somalia.

Germans had kingdoms of Prussia, Austria, Saxony, Brunswick ect.
Literally over a dozen kingdoms and duchees for a country little larger than galbeed. That was only unified in the 1871 when one of the kingdoms conquered everyone over a span of 10 years.

Somalia had the same with Sultanates/Boqortooyada. Many kingdoms in Somalia during the 1800s such as Geldi, Hobyo, Majeerteenia ect.
