Got family in Bosasso and Garowe, it’s fairly safe business can be conducted but you most have family connections just like the rest of Somalia. Otherwise you’d have to convince them and come with the right intentions.

I have family in Bosaso and I'm building something over there a hotel of some sorts, I want to ask how do diasporans collect money from their estate and who to trust to wire. Is Amal a viable option, are there companies that could wire the money on my behalf. What about Alshabaab would i have to pay them or ISIS?

My main problems are security and a way to move money

There is no al shabab or Isis in puntland.

I think there are government taxes aside from that you can use banks, amal, salaam bank even dahabshil. Open an account then whoever is looking after your property can put the money in the same account.
