Google and Twitter search this for more info.

From now on any Somali with a TV will have to pay for a TV licence.

Journalists will need a degree in journalism and they'll have to pass an exam set by the government.

A new money laundering law has also just been introduced but the full details haven't reached the media yet.

It will pay for SNTV and Radio Mogadishu. That's the logic behind it but they should install antennas countrywide otherwise it's illegal because the dish picks it up for free so why should people back home pay for our TV viewing?

Journalists will need a degree in journalism and they'll have to pass an exam set by the government? And how many of the so-called parliamentarians have got degrees in politics and governance? Or even better, what is the percentage of them that have successfully completed high school? The irony! Until the day they decide to sacrifice their fat salaries for the sake of the poor and they're picked for their education and experience and not because of the choice of their tribesmen they do not have any legitimacy to make laws. Screw them all.

I wonder here the money will go, but more importantly who will enforce this law? :mjlol:

Can you imagine a khaat addicted former militiaman askari knocking on mansion doors to see if they have a licence? It's a recipe for getting looted.

It is important to get people to perform silly laws. This method drill.

True but it's not like here in Britain were they have advanced ways to determine who pays their TV license and who doesn't.

I really hope nobody pays TV license and fights this stupid law until it forces them to rescind the law.
