There's World Bank chart that show how many camel heads were shipped to the gulf last year alone!
And also there's huge urbanization going on, everyone wants to live in the cities, the once proud camel herders are now looked down upon, you're getting called "Geel-jire" is a sign of ignorance.

I think the culture should also return where woman used to demand 100 camels, a horse, and a gun!
