Can Ankalaev Beat Pereira In March?

@Hilmaam @Bahal and others, can the Muslim fighter from Dagestan, Ankalaev, beat the monster Pereira while fasting for Ramadan? Personally I think he can if he wrestles him, but if he doesn’t which is what he says, he has no chance and will get knocked out probably for the first time in his career. Personally I think Ankalaev like a lot of other guys in that division is stupid, he doesn’t use his wrestling despite being easily the best wrestler in the division and he doesn’t check leg kicks so Pereira will probably mess up his legs to take away his power. He still hasn’t learned after Jan destroyed his legs a few years back and kept him from being champion in the championship fight.

He needs to go train with khabib so he can be in incredible shape like belaal but he won’t. I think he wants to do it on his own. So many of these guys are retarded. Like Jahamal Hill when Pereira stopped the referee he was too stupid to realize he was about to get knocked out

I agree, if he wrestles he should win since Pereira is so terrible on the ground. Pereira was dominated on the ground by Jan. He lost his power cause he was tired and couldn’t come close to knocking him out. Jan won that fight too imo and Jan is still confused how Pereira got the belt. Anakalaev dominated Jan on the ground for 3 rounds. If he wrestles he has a great chance to become champ.

Heavyweight and light heavyweight are much dumber fighters than lightweight and featherweight for example, and the divisions are more competitive in the lighter weight categories. Here is MMA legend Demetrius Johnson who fought at 125 I think, laughing at Jahamal Hill live when Pereira knocked him out. He is laughing because Jahamal told him he was going to knock out Pereira and he laughed at him when he said it too. He’s laughing because he knows he’s stupid. Imagine having that strategy against a guy who hits as hard as Pereira.
