But he's not a Canadian. He's a permanent resident

But unfortunately you are right. Trudeau will make sure he's given citizenship right away and possibly even a house for the trouble the justice system caused him. And the lefty judges who disagree with the laws in place will be praising Trudeau for changing the law that protects Canadians from violent criminals like him.
