People are treating me differently once I change my name and I can finally feel like a human again. For Atheist in the west I suggest you change your Arab names it will finally be over. Let me tell you something it's the last thing that reminds you that you were once apart of the cult but never again and for the people here I ask you what is your name.

Mom now calls me Zeke but everyone else calls be either Zachary or Zac or Zack depends on spelling.

Of the few (2) people I know who were once muslim but no longer are, they both seem to identify with Islam cuturally. Not everyone who leaves Islam has a chip on their shoulder about things. I grew up in the west and I'm doing business in the west and also this will help me land a job very quickly and listen there is an Arab guy with an Arabic name and a Somali guy with an Somali name and a Somali guy with a western easily remembered name that is almost international with the same level of degree and experience who are they going to pick?

Somali name will stick out more obviously. It's unique. No one would care about a petty name either.

That is Zakaria and my name is Zachary I actually researched this before I changed my name to make sure I didn't change to Zakaria which is the arabic one. Look at how people say it because they are different they sound little bit different there is a ria at the end the ria is shorter.
