Not true at all. The non-Ogaden Somalis were the ones who moved the capital from Godey to Jigjiga to weaken the ONLF. They are also the ones who aided the Ethiopian government in consolidating control over the Somali region. You should learn more about what Abdulmajid did as president of DDSI when almost all Ogaden were united in opposition to Ethiopia. Abdulmajid, supported by his Isaaq clan and the Ciise and Gadabursi, voted to transfer the capital from Godey in the center of DDSI to Jigjiga which lies on high ground, exposed to the Ethiopians along the Ahmar mountains. Non-Ogaden Somali, especially the Dir in Jigjiga and Shinile zones, have been very happy to back stab the Ogaden even when they did absolutely nothing to them. ONLF is probably the most restrained rebel group in Ethiopia, they are very careful not to harm civilians..

This is a list of non Ogaden clans living in DDSI. Which ones are taking arms to fight the Ethiopian regime? NONE OF THEM.

ONLF is a "tribal militia" just because Ogaden are the only ones who are fighting against a colonizer whilst the rest of the clans are fine to be ruled by the Ethiopian regime. Of course idoors, the obedient servants of Israel, only know betrayal which is why they are even begging to fight against the ONLF as a "terrorist" group(even though no country recognizes it as such other than Ethiopia) in case it may grant it recognition. Abdulmajid's moving of the capital was a disaster in the long run if DDSI is to ever attempt a rebellion against Ethiopia. Godey was on the the Shabelle ad directly linked to Somalia by road, it was the best staging ground for a rebellion. Jigjiga is actually the terminus of the Ethiopian eastern highlands. Moving the capital ad investing in a city like Jigjiga will be a huge problem if Somalis ever decide to rebel. It is like having Somalia's capital in Borama, liable to be overrun by the Ethiopians in a day's march. The Isaaq, being a minority, wanted to politically weaken the Ogaden by moving the capital, but that will totally backfire in the long run. You now have Ogaden herders from Qabri Dahar outside Hartishek and Wajaale!
The Isaaq basically sacrificed their long term presence in Ethiopia to better expose the Ogaden to Ethiopian oppression.
