i think it’s a good thing that we are exploring options outside the west but at the same time china has indebted many nations in africa in the past and treats the locals terribly. it is important that we remain cautious with any deals made. if this goes terribly we risk becoming like another heavily indebted country but if it goes well we can have other options against western pressures/interests in somalia.
