Basically what happened was that a Chinese man got robbed and went to the police, but for some reason he ended up at the asylum agency. Due to a language barrier he then somehow accidentally applied for asylum, got his passport taken away and was moved into an asylum center where he stayed for over a week until a Red Cross helper got suspicious and through the help of a local Chinese restaurant and a translation app figured out that the man in fact does not want to apply for asylum, but rather just report a robbery. The man stated he wasn't mad and unsure why he stayed in the asylum center for over a week, accepted pocket money and even went through a full physical examination. He was given back his passport, was able to file his report and then continued his trip through Europe.
