The cure or eradication of a disease leads to the collapse of a multi-billion dollar market of pharmaceuticals.

1. The natural purpose and driving force of the pharmaceutical industry is to increase sales of pharmaceutical drugs for ongoing diseases and to find new diseases to market existing drugs.
   
   
   
2. By this very nature, the pharmaceutical industry has no interest in curing diseases. The eradication of any disease inevitably destroys a multi-billion dollar market of prescription drugs as a source of revenues. Therefore, pharmaceutical drugs are primarily developed to relieve symptoms, but not to cure.
   
   
   
3. If eradication therapies for diseases are discovered and developed, the pharmaceutical industry has an inherent interest to suppress, discredit and obstruct these medical breakthroughs in order to make sure that diseases continue as the very basis for a lucrative prescription drug market.
   
   
   
4. The economic interest of the pharmaceutical industry itself is the main reason why no medical breakthrough has been made for the control of the most common diseases such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, heart failure, Diabetes, cancer, and osteoporosis, and why these diseases continue like epidemics on a worldwide scale.
   
   
   
5. For the same economic reasons, the pharmaceutical industry has now formed an international cartel by the code name "Codex Alimentarius" with the aim to outlaw any health information in connection with vitamins and to limit free access to natural therapies on a worldwide scale.
   
   
   
6. At the same time, the pharmaceutical companies withhold public information about the effects and risks of prescription drugs and life-threatening side effects are omitted or openly denied.
   
   
   
7. In order to assure the status quo of this deceptive scheme, a legion of pharmaceutical lobbyists is employed to influence legislation, control regulatory agencies (e. g. FDA), and manipulate medical research and education. Expensive advertising campaigns and PR agencies are used to deceive the public.
   
   
   
8. Millions of people and patients around the world are defrauded twice: A major portion of their income is used up to finance the exploding profits of the pharmaceutical industry. In return, they are offered a medicine that does not even cure.

What is Codex?

The World Trade Organization uses Codex Guidelines and Standards as the benchmark in the adjudication of international trade disputes involving foods. It's headquarters, above, are located in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex) is the main global body that makes proposals to, and is consulted by, the Directors-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) on all matters pertaining to the implementation of the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme.



Established in 1963, the Commission's main purposes are stated in its Procedural Manualas being:

• protecting the health of consumers
  
  
• ensuring fair practices in the food trade
  
  
• promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations

Unfortunately however, and as we shall see, its activities do not protect the health of consumers and the international food trade is anything but fair.

At the time of writing, the Commission presides over a total of 27 active subsidiary committees and ad hoc intergovernmental task forces, the main functions of which revolve around the drafting of standards, guidelines and other related texts for foods, including food supplements.



Once completed these texts are presented to the Commission for final approval and adoption as new global standards.

Brief History of Codex

The history of Codex began in 1893 when the Austria-Hungarian empire decided it needed a specific set of guidelines by which the courts could rule on cases dealing with food [1]. This regulatory set of mandates became known as Codex Alimentarius and was effectively implemented until the fall of the empire in 1918. The United Nations (UN) met in 1962 and decided that Codex should be re-implemented worldwide in order to protect health of the consumers. Two-thirds of funding for Codex emanates from the FAO while the other third comes from the WHO.

In 2002, the FAO and WHO had serious concerns about the direction of Codex and hired an external consultant to determine its performance since 1962 and to designate which direction to take the trade organization [2]. The consultant concluded that Codex should be immediately scrapped and eliminated. It was at this time that big industry realized the full monetary potential of this organization and exerted its powerful influence. The updated outcome was a toned down report asking Codex to address 20 various concerns within the organization.

Since 2002, the Codex Alimentarius Commission has covertly surrendered its role as an international public health and consumer protection organization. Under the helm of big industry, the sole surreptitious purpose of the new codex is to increase profits for the global corporate juggernauts while controlling the world through food. The implicit understanding of their philosophy is that if you control food, you control the world.

The Codex Alimentarius Commission is a joint intergovernmental body of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and WHO with 186 Member States and one Member Organization (EU). Codex has worked since 1963 to create harmonized international food standards to protect the health of consumers and ensure fair trade practices.

Leave it to Monsanto to be acquired by a corporation more vile than itself.

In case you missed it, Bayer has shelled out $66 billion dollars to purchase Monsanto, as well as the wrath of the world. The deal, which works out to $128/share, is expected to go through by the end of 2017. (Read more about that here.)

Monsanto and Bayer have a lot in common– from war crimes to attacks on women’s fertility. Monsanto’s crimes against humanity are well-documented…DDT, PCBs, Saccharin, Agent Orange, GMOs and glyphosate, but Bayer’s are lesser known. Given the news of the toxic merger, let’s review a brief summary of Bayer’s dark history.

German-based Bayer is one of the top pharmaceutical/chemical companies in the world. Founded in Barmen, Germany in 1863 by Friedrich Bayer and Johann Friedrich Weskcott, today Bayer is most popular for its aspirin, but also manufactures diabetes medications, various birth control products, pet products like Advantix and other consumer goods.

In 1925, Bayer merged with BASF and Hoechst to become the massive German entity known as Interessengemeinschaft Farben (IG Farben, for short).

BAYER’S ROLE IN THE HOLOCAUST

The Holocaust and death camps like Auschwitz are synonymous with World War II. Numerous crimes against humanity took place during this dark time in history, specifically the mass executions against the Jewish population. It has been estimated that up to six thousand Jewish men, women and children were gassed daily in Nazi death camps.

As reported by GMwatch.org, IG Farben manufactured and supplied the poisonous cyanide-based pesticide (Zyklon B) that was used to annihilate more than a million people at German extermination camps. The form of Zyklon B that was used in the gas chambers was intentionally made odorless. IG Farben also supplied the Methanol that was used to burn the bodies.

During his address to The Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal in 1946, Chief Prosecutor Telford Taylor declared that “These companies, not the lunatic Nazi fanatics, are the main war criminals. If the guilt of these criminals is not brought to daylight and if they are not punished, they will pose a much greater threat to the future peace of the world than Hitler if he were still alive.”

Despite the gravity of the crimes and helping Hitler to gain power (IG Farben was the biggest contributor to Hitler’s election campaign), a number of those convicted of slavery and mass murder were given back positions of power at Bayer, Hoechst and BASF.


BAYER’S DANGEROUS CONTRACEPTIVES

1. Yaz/Yasmine

Approved by the FDA in 2006, Yaz birth control uses a synthetic hormone called drospirenone, or DSP. Hundreds of women have died from complications from the contraceptive, which has proven to be unreasonably dangerous. Phillipp Mimkes, a Board Member of CBG wants the drug pulled from the market, “The Coalition Against BAYER Dangers, which has been pointing out the dangers of Yaz for years, demands a ban on all contraceptive pills with a profile of increased side effects.”

Numerous side effects have been reported as a result of Yaz including:

-adrenal insufficiency
-blood clots and deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
-breast, cervical or uterine cancer
-depression
-gallbladder disease
-heart attack
-kidney problems
-liver disease or failure
-stroke
-death

2. Mirena IUD

The convenience of opting out of a daily birth control pill comes at a high price. Women who have the Mirena implant have reported dangerous side effects including: birth complications, ectopic pregnancy, perforation of the uterus and chronic infections. Thousands of complaints were filed with the FDA regarding the dangerous device, prompting the agency to release a statement in May of 2008 demanding Bayer clearly highlight the dire risks of the Mirena IUD. The FDA also made Bayer label their products honestly, warning women “who choose Mirena about the risks of ectopic pregnancy, including the loss of fertility.”

1 out of every 1,000 women who receive the Mirena IUD will experience an ectopic pregnancy, a potentially life-threatening complication for the mother. (Source)

3. Essure

Essure is a permanent surgical sterilization procedure developed by Conceptus Inc., a subsidiary of Bayer AG. The Essure is a metal coil device which blocks the fallopian tubes, preventing fertilization.

In 1985 Dr. Sebi placed an ad in The Amsterdam News, The New York Post, and The Village, the ad read…

“Aids has been cured by the Usha Research Institute, and we specialize in cures for Sickle Cell, Lupus, Blindness, Herpes, Cancer and others.”

The ad ran for 2 years before he was attacked by the Attorney General of New York. Dr. Sebi was told to remove the ad, when he refused within days he was served with a arrest warrant. According to Dr. Sebi the Attorney General bragged that he was going to “put Dr. Sebi under the jail!” The charges read to the jury was as follows..

Mr. Alfred Bowman aka Dr. Sebi, you are hereby charged with practicing medicine without a license, selling products not approved by the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) and claiming to cure Aids, and other diseases which is a fraudulent claim.”

Dr Sebi was told to bring 1 person for each of the diseases he claimed to court with proof from a reputable doctor that the individual had the disease, then proof from another reputable doctor that the person was cured. Instead of bringing 1 for each disease, approx 70 people filled the court all with proof! The judge shook his head according to Dr. Sebi and said I did not ask for all of this. To make a long story short, the judge after seeing the proof and speaking with Dr. Sebi turned to the states attorney and asked, “Did you investigate the man?” She said, “No” The judge then said, “well, the answer he just gave me, he cures AIDS. You all are in trouble.” Dr. Sebi was then found NOT GUILTY on all charges by the state of New York and the supreme court because he was indeed curing people of the various diseases, including AIDS.

Organic food refers to the way agricultural products are grown and processed. Organic crops must be grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, bioengineered genes (GMOs), petroleum-based fertilizers, and sewage sludge-based fertilizers.
