"Colonizability" of Africa in 1899 map

Europeans were looking to settle in all of Southern Africa and replace the locals. :wowsweat:

For us and North Africans, it says "prior establishment of warlike or enlightened native races may effectually prevent European Colonialism" :lolbron:

For Bantus, "Inhabited by fairly docile, governable races" :mjlaugh:

Good thing Africa didn't turn out like the Americas :stopit:
 
the reason why we didn't turn out like America is because we were not isolated. We had an averagely strong immune system that prevented large scale diseases to wipe out our people. If we didn't have that then we would be minority Indegenous
 
Nomads bringing livestock back to Africa helped give most of the African races immunity to Eurasian diseases, meaning a lot of it couldn't wipe them out on the scale of the natives in America.
