Compassion fatigue

Why do Somalis these days complain of 'compassion fatigue' regarding Somalia when they never cared in the first place? They were the ones sending money to the warlords 'to protect their clan' and other evil shit. If they weren't involved they either cheered when the clans they hated were attacked or just as bad, used it as entertaining coffeehouse discussion.

Somalis never cared about Somalia only a few idealistic youth genuinely care. The rest are happy only when their clan interests are met.
