Conquest of Constantinople anniversary

Today is the anniversary of the conquest of Constantinople, which was the capital of the Byzantine empire and the cradle of civilization. The honour of fulfilling this blessed prophecy was granted to Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih (May Allah have mercy on him) and the Muslim warriors who took part in this Jihad (May Allah bless them).

The Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Verily you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful leader will her leader be, and what a wonderful army will that army be!’ [Musnad Ahmad, Al Hakim, al Jami’ al Saghir]

Many scholars reject the Hadith was attributed to the Constantinople conquest by the Ottomans. But to another one in the future. It’s interesting.

Many scholars reject the Hadith was attributed to the Constantinople conquest by the Ottomans. It’s interesting.

It’s only al-albani and another Salafi scholar Al-Arnaa’oot who reject this Hadith. The classical scholars accept this hadith such as Ath-Thahabi.

I wish i lived when it was conquered. Is there good biography book about this event?
