It is a land good for grazing. It is to be more lush than this in the past though. The Haud use to be a jungle. What I like about the Haud/Southern Togdheer is the big trees.

Personally I don’t consider Gaashaamo a true Hawd just the beginning of the Hawd.

If you see the real Hawd places xidhka Mara Dhiig, you can’t even see 5 feet in front of you.

Those are deegaans. The camel doesn’t graze close to that area. The true Hawd is an area where there are no towns or villages close by just endless savannah, forests where camels graze

There are no marked areas in the Hawd. You could be grazing your camels as deep and far as you want
