Maya Walal. It’s from Weedh + tan. I’m not aware if Weedhaan is even a word, probably a dialect thing, I’m assuming.

Words ending with d/dh get the feminine demonstrative pronoun tan - “f. this“

and when this happens they get merged into dan or dhan

ex.

Kubad -> Kubad + tan = Kubaddan
Shalmad -> Shalmad + tan = Shalmaddan

You’re right minguurin is also possible for copy.
