It is like when people get vaccinated against seasonal flue, they can still get infected with a flue but the severerity will not be as high compared to someone who's not vaccinated.. The vaccine is only designed to prepare our immune system to combat the virus instead of being taken by a surprise which will be the case for someone who's unvaccinated.

As for you.

Yes, your likelihood of getting covid may be low as a young person but it is no where near zero. Even if its 1%, that means 1 in 100 people in your age group will get it. That is not low odds by any means.

You are more likely to get covid and die from it as a young person than get any vaccine side-effects.

Obviously when any spreadable disease starts, they're not going to relax restrictions immediately for those who vaccinate.

Yes, you can get COVID if you get the vaccine but you will not die or get hospitalised unless its rarest upon rarest of cirumstances. The reason why you should still wear a mask is because if you carry COVID, you can still pass it onto unvaccinated people.

The lack of common sense on this thread astounds me.

This vaccine hasnt even been properly tested it hasnt gone through the years of trials required like other previous vaccines. Its essentially experimental gene therapy who knows what the long term side effects are.

You already submitted and now even more weird booster shots will be required every year. No thanks sheeple
