dont think there wasn't any from the beginning. In any other civilised country, appointing a former head of such a company to PM would certainly not go unnoticed. I’m not worried about Khayre.

The real worry is whether Norway is willing to make a good deal with Somalia for those concessions. They have the best offshore drillers in the world and can make a great partner for Somalis.

Norway’s public wealth fund is buying up assets around the planet and Somalia had many benefits.

We don’t need individual dirty private companies to invest in Somalia. We need major investors like Singapor and Norway who can help us fight corruption and built accountability.
