Waar Baal,

Here's the intro to the new Audio podcast from Larry the Puntite.

It's called Cushitic Creatives and will be discussing all things creative,
small business and personal wealth development in 5min parts.

Why 5mins or Shaan Daqiiqo? Because that's all I fucking got.

The 1min intro is a SomaliSpot Exclusive Surprise.

Some gold shit, who would've thought pairing up a Hanz Zimmer track with Dabacasar would've made it sound badass :mjlol:

what in your opinion are qualifications that we need to bring back to somalia. imo theres a real need for computer science, tech students and engineers to bring us forward into the future. we also need people who learn about urban planning to being that to somalia. and definitely political science and law majors to run the country. but i barely know any somalis who major in the above fields.

What you typed is nothing but opportunity. The whole nation is a startup.

The trend im noticing now is that Somalia is turning more into "The internet of things and Private Equity."

Starting a private equity fund in Somalia has zero barriers to entry. Private equity will pick up the slack in these infant industries. If you start a business in Somalia with partners and you take the profits back and put it into a fund and start other business, it will create a snowball effect.

Software will free Somalia, it has already started with our cashless society. The next step is security, Somalia needs a software on a phone that can be carried by police and government officials. A software that takes your fingerprint, puts you in a database with your qabil, age and even if you have committed crimes--A virtual drivers license.

National security will start with the cellphone and we could very well become the first country to make it public and transparent.

All I know is there's an incredible amount of opportunity and everyone is taken aback by it because of the hard work required to achieve it.

in just a few years isreal became the cyber capital of the world. they did it by educating the youth and giving them incentives to work hard and join the governments cyber protection unit. educating the youth there is important, especially on technology as it is becoming increasingly more important as the years go by. sadly not many somalis are interested in this field.

This is why I keep saying "This is the Greatest time to be Somali"

Remember seeing this a couple of years ago

South Korea is about 100,000sq/m, that's about 1/6th of the size of Somalia and we keep bickering about who just built the worlds shortest building in a capital city.

Somalia and every poor country gets a front row seat at watching the world develop. When you visit Korea you will see there's hope for developing nations.
