Cutting must be easier than gaining tho, I’ve been at 70kg for 1 month now, it’s hard to keep up meals with doing uni at the same time

IIFYM or if it fits your marcos is the absolute kang of diets sxb. It gets you out of the "diet" mindset and your weight wouldn't yo-yo over the long term.

oh yeah ive been lifting since 2013, but pandemic ruined my momentum so restarting.

My lifts are still pretty good and these are my current goals in terms of strength

Im actually aiming for a 120lb incline dumbell bench press(120lb on each arm btw)

Currently can do around 100lb so far.


as well as a seated shoulder press with 100lb dumbell

Can do around 80-90 for 5 reps.

I quit barbell benching because it kept giving me tension headaches even when breathing properly(valsalva) but 1 week ago I hit 225 with ease.

I gained some weight and belly a few months ago, I'm back in the gym jogging and stellar physique
running is incredible for losing weight. Right now I prefer elliptical since its easier on the joints and can burn roughly 600+ cals every other day(4 days a week cardio)

I do 4 days of week of cardio
3 days a week fullbody weight lifting
and I play basketball in between

i just follow iffym with 2000 calories so far.

Going to drop from 170lbs to 160lbs

Then reduce to 1900 calories for 160lbs to 150lbs

My goal is to be absolutely shredded at 5'9.5 150lbs. I have broad shoulders and big arms so I can still look big at a lighter weight.

I find the intensity should be kept in mind u don't wanna burn your self out with high intensity jolt sprints but at the same time you don't wanna move too slow, finding a balance is key

you're 1000000% right. I'm actually trying to not go as hard as I usually go in terms of working out. I've been lowering volume.

Mashallah good on you. We all have different experiences however. I try to focus on eating healthy rather than weight. It does help I lose weight if I don’t eat 2500 calories everyday
