So after reading the ''get to know damu-jadiid'' thread i discovered the clan of ''farah abdulqadir'' i was told he is reeraw xasan and i thought he was mareexaan but was told he is a 0.5. so i did some digging on the clan and this is what i found on their page

Reer Aw-Xasan is an Ashraf community based mostly in the Southern Somalia's Lower Shabele region as well as in the Hiiraan and along the border between Somalia and Ethiopia. Reer Aw-Xassan genereted from Ali ibn Abii-dhaaliib, Hussein, Muhammad, Ali zenul-Abaden, Musa-Kadhiim, Jaafar-Saadiq, Alaawe and Hassanul-Askari which is reer aw-Hassan, He came from Yemen. Some Reer aw Xassan members are also found in parts of Kenya especially Khalaliyo, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Nairobi. There are four major subclans of the Reer Aw Xasan: Saa'id and Nuur, Abdalla, Abdirahman. Saa'id, which has the largest number of people, are further divided into three sub-groups: the Reer aw Kheyre, ree aw Ali and the Reer aw-Xuuriye. Most of Reer aw Kheyre live in the bigger towns in southern Somalia like Afgoye, Qoryooley, Wanleweyn, Kismaayo and some of them live in the capital Mogadishu.

They are mostly farmers, having farms in the rural areas of Afgoye which is exclusive to Reer Aw Kheyre . Reer Aw Xuuriye, which is the largest population, are mostly nomads; they gain their wealth in farming camels and are one of the richest camel farmers in Southern Somalia. They mostly live in the rural areas of Qoryooley, Afgoye and some parts of Wanleweyn district in lower Shabeelle province.

The Nuur subclan is divided into four sub groups: Reer Aw Mahdi, Reer Aw Cilmi, Reer Aw Udgoone and Reer Axmed Nuur. Many of them live in Somali Region of Ethiopia in towns such as Buur Ukur (Buurukur), Ferfer (Feer-Feer), and Abaaley Baletwein. These Towns are in Gode Zone of the Somali Region in Ethiopia. Abdalla Hassan live in the town Hargeisa, Zeilac Somaliland, Djibouti.

Prominant leaders from Reer aw xasan:

Sheekh Cumar Faaruuq

Sheekh Ahmed Haadi

The only authentic ahlul bayt that I know are Reer Sharif Nadhir (you won't find information about them online), al Ah-dali and Ba Alawi, they are ALL cadcads, I'm related to them in some way or another. Weren't you just saying they're inferior on the other thread?

Only a cognitively impaired monkey would belief this khuraafad, wake the hell up ain't no Somali nor a 0.5er related to the Prophet Muhammed, hageey eey iskoo so galaan ? what through the yemenis? let's see about that.

The Imams of Yemen and later the Kings of Yemen were religiously consecrated leaders belonging to the Zaidiyyah branch of Shia Islam. They established a blend of religious and secular rule in parts of Yemen from 897.
The imams based their legitimacy on descent from the Prophet Muhammad, mostly via al-Qasim ar-Rassi (d. 860). After him, the medieval imams are sometimes known as Rassids. The first of the ruling line, his grandson al-Hadi ila'l-Haqq Yahya, was born in Medina

So basically a Somali/0.5er is saying he is descedant of the Prophet Mohamed, because of some yemenis who may or may not be descedant of the prophet Mohamed, and to top it of these yemenis were Shia Muslim and they wanted to establish their legitamacy by saying ooh we are descedants of Prophet Mohamed, let's even forget about that Somaliga/05er yow yemeniga hageey bey iskoo so galaan ?? i call bullshit on this, it's 2016 going on 2017 for goodness sake, you know DNA testing and haplogroups and all it's time for concrete proof of lineage and ancestory, not some shitty chinese whispers and hadaal smh

I was busy but now I'm back. They claim Ba alawi? Wth lol? But it doesn't say from which specific branch, that's weird. My friend is from Jamal ul layl, I also know a guy from As saqqaf. I'm not sure, I'll have to show it to the elders lol. But it looks a bit suspicious to me.

Sxb, Ba Alawi are not ar Rassi lol although both are authentic Hashemites. Ar Rassi have people that are J1 L859. I'll link you to it. Ar Rassi are related to Al Ahdali (also an cadcad family) so they're both L859.

I don't think they're legit. Why? Because my uncle in Somalia (who's the biggest Shaykh in his district and an expert on Arabian genealogy) doesn't think they are. I was in a Masjid one time and I've seen everyone kiss some man's hand (who hailed from Ashraf Sarman, who are pretty much the same thing as these Dhamul Jadiid people), so I asked my uncle if he's from one of the accepted tribes of Asharaaf, he replied in the negative.
