For those of you on Muslim Twitter, you may have heard of a man named Mujahid who owns an account called @ahlalhadiith on Twitter. He’s allegedly a Madina university student who passed away due to injuries from a car crash and donations were sent to him. Turns out, Mujahid doesn’t even exist and it was a woman who was running his account, he didn’t die and Madina university students do not know of anyone named Muhahid. We have all been fooled.
This story is trending all over Muslim Twitter and now it’s going viral. What this goes to show you is you can’t trust anonymous people. There’s a lot of frauds and scammers out there.
