It was a pretty solid debate for the Democrats and I'd say the 3 biggest winners were Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders, and Pete Buttigieg in my opinion. Pete got caught lacking a few times when he got grilled on his race record but I think he recovered well.

Biden is looking washed up and Elizabeth Warren's can't outdo Bernie with progressives in my opinion. It's about to be a 3 horse race with Bernie vs Buttigieg as the main show with Klobuchar trailing.

Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer made solid policy points and were the most realistic in laying out a plan for the Dems to beat Trump in 2020

Pete is just a stand in in case Biden's campaign falters which it did and Klobuchar and Sanders actually have proper policy proposals. He lost the popular vote so clearly there is enough people that don't like him. The key for the Dems is to make inroads in the Midwest and the Rust belt again because you can win 100% of New York and 100% of California but it's useless since they get all the electors anyways
