They always side with them when the shit hits the fan. Listen u think hawiye would build xaalka waara neighborhood homes in bosaso, garowe, gaalkacyo, qardho? you know they want to evict your people forget allocating ngo funds to them like Puntland who is neglecting its own people. your apart of PL politics and your residents have the same voting power as a beloved general who spent since the 70s fighting for that region rights.

Now HSM is in power he will turn a blind eye on the Moryans in lower Isabelle or may even assist them for hagnimo lol so you end suffering by supporting them over darod.

I get your point. But I think the tension between Rahanweyn and Daarood stems from the Kacaan government that sidelined Rahanweyns and favoured Daaroods. Also the 1991 civil war where Daarood Millitias raided Rahanweyn villages, causing 500,000 Rahanweyns to starve in a mass man made famine. Ever since then Rahanweyns have sided with Hawiyes and seen them as a better option to ally with.

However in that 30 year alliance we have had with Hawiye we have realised that they do not want Somalia to have a stable functioning government. They are content with the status quo and carrying on their mooriyaan activities from the civil war but now using a government to hide behind.

If I am being honest I have realised Daaroods are more sincere when it comes to wanting Somalia to prosper and have a stable government. I think many Rahanweyns are also waking up and realising that allying with Daaroods is a better option when it comes to nation building and working towards a prosperous Somalia.
