Its expected of him to do that. This is the first time ever in their history, that Marusade have held a significant government position. So of course, they would make the most of it.

But, Farmajo, I dont get. The man has not sent a single penny to his people in Gedo or GG. All the past presidents have done that. Hassan Sheikh and Sharif have built up Abgal areas in Xamar and the Shabelles.

Yet with all this, our Marehan cousins, will defend Farmajo, to the death.

Well Farmaajo is obviously trying to play the "Non-tribalist" president role and show the people "Hey look I ain't giving nothing to MX, I'm good". They don't feel guilt about "Oh he's helping his clan out by using the lofty position he's in". Plus I swear @Sheikh said that Farmaajo is a MX from Galgaduud? Correct me if i'm wrong.
