There's an open door policy so our brothers are always welcomed. This just raises the question though when will idoor take part in the boob going on at the tables of power in Mogadishu
We can't be that naive, I'm sure there's a few proxy politicians in xamar
but other than that we shouldn't have too much representation because it would make ppl think a large populace supports the SFG.

This isolation idea needs to come an end, we need to end the status-quo
We have waited for 25 years, that's a quarter a century
What they should ask themselves is: what happens if the world recognizes Somaliland?
A very simple question. If Somaliland is now unrecognized and still not willing to give concessions and is violating every agreement, what will it do were it to gain recognition? If Dhulbahante today don't even have Speaker of Parliament today, when they are most needed, what role will they get when they are no longer needed? If they are attacking your civilians today, what can you expect when they gain access to international arms markets as a sovereign nation?
Recognized states post WWII are basically permanent, even when in complete collapse, they remain. E.g the DRC still has a seat at the UN.
They don't realize that they maybe condemning their people to decades if not a century or more of minority status. These odays don't even know how risky what they are doing is and that is probably the scariest part of all this.

I couldn't agree with this anymore. The isolation agenda has to come to a conclution, it has served its purpose and has given us time to build our state institutions.

@Rooble they didn't mention their subclans they were speaking as dhulbahaante. But they did say around 17 mins that Isaaq and dir waqooyi will let a dhulbahante man live with them and partake with him in politics, but a Majeerten will never allow that

Dhulbahantes and Warsangelis would be able to secure and play a larger role in SL if more of them took part in the political process....How do you expect the speaker seat, presidency or the VP if majority of your population is not voting? The political parties give out positions depending on who their main support comes from so they won't work hard to appease them.....This isn't xamar where everything will be divided on 4.5.....
They would have more influence and political weight in an independent Somaliland than they ever will in Somalia...this means more ambassadorships, more ministers, more governors, more civil service members, more military officers, larger share in the national budget etc....
Isaaq in reality are divided among themselves, so there would be no united Isaaq domination if that's what they are afraid of.... who knows my Sacad Muse subclan who don't really border or have conflict with, can work together and support each other in the political arena......

That's what the elders were saying in the video. 1 man 1 vote. That if they don't vote they won't get any seats in Parliament and that's what it comes down to.
Also if warsangeli and dhulos came on board I could bet my bottom dollar HJ would have a political alliance with them. Possibly some eastern habar yonis too. The political parties would be representing regions as opposed to specific clans
The guy who said that wasn't Dhulbhante, he was faqashinii, Vice President of Puntland is abdikarim camaay, karash & atleast 13 more ministers who hold high post in Puntland. Most of these people are faqashinii..@Golis you're pro union, horta yaa tahay niinyo.

They clearly said they were dhulo, and representing dhulos. And that some dhulo elders were not present and they would set up meetings and include them
