Did Farmaajo bribe his way to victory?

It's been reported that MPs have been bribed by candidates during this election. How is it that most these corrupt MPs voted for Farmaajo other than that he paid them. :hmm:

No he doesn't own all that money and did not have any backing countries like the rest, simply the MP took the money but voted for faramjo, I know 2 friends of my dad that lost their money and didn't get elected to the MP positions.

They do what Somalis are best at: Scam you and then run away with the price

If election were decided by money, HSM would have won. :manny:

Here is how he did without bribing:

1: How did Farmajo win? Until yesterday, Farmajo's base consisted of about 3 dozen loyal MPs including women and young, newly elected lawmakers

2:The big breakthrough came last night when 20 MPs from the Daljir party defected from Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and joined Farmajo, sources say.

3:Another support came from a group of nationalists reportedly angered by the recent public endorsement of Ethiopia PM for Pres Mohamud

4: Speech made by Zakariye Mohamud Haji Abdi in which he pointed finger at the "overt involvement" of foreign actors further boosted Farmajo.

5: Finally, a recent gentleman's agreement by the opposition gave Farmajo an overwhelming vote tally in 2nd round, forcing Mohamud to concede.

Farmaajo did not have anywhere near the money that HSM CCC and Shariifka had. The MPs just took all the bribes they could get, and voted for him when they were alone in the booth. He won because even the corrupt MPs knew that he was the best and cleanest candidate. He may turn out to be a flop, but at least we will move up the corruption rankings. 80% of the federal budget won't be lost to corruption anymore.
