White teacher definitely traumatized. She probably alerted CPS right after this.

I can't be no teacher in some hood school man. Your gonna have to deal with Bs like this sometimes. Some of the kids you discipline will have to go home to abusive parents like this

That's abusive. A child is a child at the end of the day. They're going to make mistakes, get in trouble, cross boundaries, etc. You have to teach them and discipline (not abuse) them with patience and compassion. They're still growing and they will mature and develop understanding and look back at their silly ways when older. Reacting like this will just give them trauma and make them resent you.

the beating isn't much of a concern for me, just the way she yells. doesnt feel like disciplining, this just abuse

A lot of parents wont look at this as abuse. Of course they have the sense to do it at home and not infront of the teacher but they still do what she did.

It's abusive. This is not proper child rearing.

In fact this is a perfect example of an emotionally unstable/immature parent. That woman has no sense of emotional regulation and is blowing up over a child misbehaving which happens and is to be expected from time to time.

While she may believe she is teaching him a valuable lesson, in reality, she is simply expressing her frustration. She is literally allowing her emotions to take center stage, she misses the opportunity to address the issue. As a result, her child is likely to perceive her anger rather than understand why his behavior is detrimental to his learning.

The thing is, discipline should be paired with guidance and an emphasis on self-reflection, rather than emotional responses alone.

I've also seen aunties beating their kids aggressively over the smallest things.

It's true a lot of ethnic parents don't see a problem with this, kids are seen as property that you have full ownership over. There's little accountability for parents who oppress their children because of the status they have and the greater rights they possess. Children have rights in Islam, it's just not spoken about enough.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “He is not one of us who is not merciful to our young, nor respects the rights of our elders, nor enjoins good, nor forbids evil.

The cycle of Black household abuse is never ending. That child will end up doing it to it to his own child. You will notice people who complain or experienced their parents' bad parenting have the exact same temperament and personalities as their parents.

Nah this is downright evil. If she beat him like that at school. Imagine what she does to him at home. Hope CPS finds the kid a better home and the mom gets stomped out in jail. This shi downright cruel. And how tf did no one intervene
