Not prepared for death at all because it's the last thing you'd think of. Death only crosses your mind when you hear about someone who's passed away, even then you're reminded for a little while and then baaam back to being in denial again.
I honestly think if people thought of death constantly they'd instantly become better people. You'd think to yourself before saying/doing anything, will this help me after I die? Am I being a good person by doing this ? I'm speaking from a Muslim's perspective. Overall be the best you can, do good and good will come to you. Try to make a change even if it's a tiny one, and by bettering yourself it'll be good for both dunya & akhira. 2 birds with 1 stone
