Realistically speaking, the only peaceful solution I can think of that can deescalate the Ethiopia situation AND liberate galbeed is if IOG gets replaced by a waddani who offers Ethiopia Tadjoura and Obock in exchange for all of the DDS becoming apart of Somalia, maybe even Harar and Dhir Dhabab too if he pushes it. Galbeed will then be split up and join the different FMS. Hawd will join Somaliland, Dollo zone will join Puntland, Shabelle zone will join Hirshabelle, Liben and Afder will join South West and so on. Sitti Zone becomes apart of whatever remains of Djibouti while Ogaden clan gets their own FMS. (yeah yeah I know giving qabils their own state is cringe but OGs would be mad otherwise lol). Literally everyone is happy except maybe the French.

Look at this beautiful beach from Tadjoura. How could any Ethiopian resist this? Reer Djibouti, you guys hold the key to placating Ethiopia and bringing us closer to uniting Somalis. Remove that fat ass IOG for us.

The big problem with Djibouti is that it does not utilise the leverage it has against Arat Kilo. That can only be done with a new leader.

Djibouti is an independent state, highly doubt they’ll ever consider it. Not to mention, that fat bastard has been actively involved in the destabilisation of Somalia for decades. He is not our friend.
