I doubt that. I have been to Djibouti and never met a Warsangeli or Dhulbahante
I'm not too sure now, but before independence it was heavily populated by Dhulbahante because our clans disperesed everywhere. Some went to Jubba, some went to Ogaden, some went Djibouti, some went Hawd (after they were expelled by the British in Caynabo).

An Arab, Somali and Afar in Djibouti. Can't tell the first and last one apart in terms of looks even. So what's wrong them assimilating into the dominant Somali who number nearly 20 million? Do you really think that the Chinese who number 1 billion are just an ethnic group who had a population boom?

Of the Somali tribes that live in Djibouti there are some Dhulbahante and Warsengeli represented in Djibouti but they are not there in large numbers. Population wise the biggest minority Somali communities in Djibouti mainly consist of Sacad Musa (HA) and Gadabursi.

There are Daarood Jeberti in Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Oman, Yemen etc.
Most of the Daarood who live in other countries are Harti.

Unlike some Somalis, we don't live on top of each other.

Harti history in Djibouti, they retained their clan names but integrated with the Anfar:

"Aar kow Dheh"
Djibouti has a lot of Somalis who are not native to the land.
I've watched a video on YouTube a while back about wersengeli community in Djibouti and they seem well established.
