I personally would not pay all of it. I expect the future bride to cover half of the wedding cost and the mehr. I think I’m valuable enough as is and many of these ethnic women will even pay me the dowry instead. We no longer live in the third world and aren’t adhering to cultural customs since most are liberal and westernized.
