Imagine calling other Muslims out for dikri.
somali sufism is despicable and should be eradicated. dancing and calling it dikri is not islam. There are so many forms of Sufism. There are very fringe sects and there are very orthodox normal sufis who do not innovate. It’s not fair to just pull videos from random sects and assume every Sufi does these things.
Sufism is a way of thinking and realisation that is based upon love of Allah and his prophet SAW ( and not fear like the wahabis). Example, my dugsi teacher told me to pray or I will burn in hell fire. And so salat was a chore done out of fear. Then I joined a sufi circle, my teacher taught me pray because it is joy to be in the company of the creator of the universe. This is just one shift in mindset I’ve learned from my Sufi teacher.
Sufism offers a completely different way of seeing and understanding the Deen, that is lacking in at least Somali Sunni practice. It reframes the rules of Islam through a lens of love and compassion.
Maybe you should look into it a bit and open your heart to understanding.
