Do Somalis from different regions of the Somali lands live together in your city?

I think the majority in my city are Hawiye and Darood. Not a lot of Isaaq but they are here. I have met few of the other Somali clans. Maybe one or two at the most. Did these other clans stay in Somalia or move to other neighbouring countries?

For the most part Hawiye and Darood live together and Isaaq congregate in one part of the city. You might get a few Isaaq here and there amongst Hawiye and Darood but the majority are in one area of the city.

I believe Hawiye and Darood are united by the shared Somalia since they neighbour each other in Somalia and also live amongst each other. They might hate each other politically but deep down they know they are one and share the same destiny.

For the Isaaq I couldn’t tell you much but the ones here seem more for unity compared to the ones in the UK. They don’t even wear the Isaaq bracelets here but I noticed almost all carry the banner in the UK.

What do you all think?

Most Somalis I know and live near are Isaaq, we get along well.

They are definitely secessionists but I don't particularly have any problem with that other than the fact that they specifically hate Xamar and also think all of us Southerners are one people (this is from my experience).

Dir majority. Bunch of Jabuutian Samaroons & Ciise running around along with Isaaq Soomaalilanders.

If you look hard enough you can find little sprinkles of Hawiye and possibly Daroods.
