Amd if your mom is Somali then you’re just considered to be half Somali ? Okay that makes sense then. But is that still considered to be a huge deal or do the younger generation not careIf you are paternally somali then you’re 100% somali

(its funny how most mixed somalis with somali dads, like maya jama, alissa boe (13 reasons why), those filipino christian girls, etc. abandon somalinimo same way their dad abandons them, but mixed somali kids with somali hooyos produces most of the time proud muslim somalis who even end up marrying other somalis - some food for thought)
You’re actually the first person I’ve ever seen that said this. Most of the time, the child with a Somali dad is considered to be Somali, but the child with a Somali mom is considered to be a non Somali, no matter how close they are with their culture and family. They're both half breed. No difference what so ever....if you marry out your offspring won't be full Somali and after a couple of generations there won't be any trace of your existence.

It's because Somali lineage goes through the father, like kids who take the fathers tribe etc.. But technically speaking if a male marries an ajnabi woman or vise versa there's no difference both would be mixed kids.. I would even say some moms have more influence on the kids compared to the fathers, this means a woman's children are more likely to be closer to the culture than if it was a father since we're all more influenced by our moms as kids compared to our fathers. You’re actually the first person I’ve ever seen that said this. that makes sense. But why would the Somali kid with a Somali dad be considered full Somali if they are in terms of ethnicity and dna just a halfthis is due to the half Somali kid (from a Somali mother) not having a qabiil
You’ll still be half Somali though. No abtirsi means your not somali
This basically sums it up perfectly and makes a lot senseIt's because Somali lineage goes through the father, like kids who take the fathers tribe etc..
