Most of the older British acquaintances I have met have been able to correctly guess my ancestry on most occasions. They tend to even know our history and the current situation on the ground. I can’t say the same for many of the other white folk I’ve met. Many of the scholars writing Scientific journals and books about Somalis and Somalia tend to be British too. You might get one Canadian (Jay Bahadur) here or there but the majority seem to be of British origin. I think that is why they were able to conquer almost the entire world. The British are a sophisticated bunch and will continue making a mark in the worlds pages.
