Do you know more the single mothers than married parents?

Can't remember who commented it but some said that most women with kids around them are single mothers not married parents. Is this your experience? We have people here apart of Somali communities who live all across the world. I interest in know of it common for you

Yes they are. Most young couples I know that marry only last 2 years max and 1 child in. Things usually get messy when the wife gets pregnant for some reason.

For me, most people I know have two parents and the mothers are married. Both older and younger generation.

I have theory that most people meet people who have the same circumstance as them, especially somalis.

Some say most somalis they know grew up in single- mother household and other one says the opposite, that they had both parents. One of them is not wrong so both of them are correct. Its just that they both know people who grew up similar.

That’s so true my dad is involved and is with my mum and until I befriended another Somali girl who said her dad has left and married another women that is there stereotype of Somali dads leaving their first family
