that is sweet but I think actions are much better than words.

having known people who use "love bombing" and are the meanest people, I now have zero care for things like I love you, sweet words, compliments etc. and they actually make me feel suspicious and uneasy

I meant genuine and occasional use of I love you towards family and not some random situation with people.

It's easy to pick up on sociopathic manipulation. They will tend to "love bomb" suddenly and in uncalled for situations. If you are an emotionally mature and self assured person, you will be able to tell the difference easily is my point.

How can you love yourself? You are not two people but one being. It does not make sense.

When people say self love, they should say radiate love from your being. Then you will see through a new lense. Meaning that you will understand love and conversely the lack of it.
