I think Allah SWT confirmed in the Quran that he sent prohetes to all the nations that come before us meaning every nation somalis or proto somalis included had their own nabi and a sharica but our prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم was sent to all and was the last. It really doesn't matter alot if somalis did or didn't have a prophet since the core message is the same regardless of who the prophet in question was.
In a scense all the prophets are brother and in fact durning the Isra' and Mi'raj our prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم was the imam in masjid Al-Qudus and did salah with every prophet standing behind him as if to say every nation that these prophets represents united under Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم.
