last time I heard Donald Trump banned most Muslim countries from entering the country, so I want to know if the somali immigration increased, decreased, or is still the same? And are they refugees or economic migrants from Kenya? And if it is increasing where are they settling other than minnesota?

is very rare for somalis to tahriib via South America, in fact is not common anymore for somalis to tahriib in general. Kenya is there go to.
It’s not rare, they take a flight from turkey and go straight to Mexico
if mexicans have hard time entering Americans than what makes you think somalis will enter America?

Only a few dozen Somalis tahriib through there. Look at the data I shared above. After the travel ban went into effect, the refugees coming in from Somalia, Iran, and Syria combined is roughly 200~. This number is nothing comparable to the number of Somali asylum seekers that used to arrive in the past.
The journey through Latin America is too dangerous and only the most desperate go through there. And even if they survive and make it to the border, there’s no guarantee they’ll be granted asylum. The US is more xenophobic than it’s ever been. The diaspora who made it are the last of it.
