I was listening to this interesting debate on Clubhouse, it was between 2 mathows and they were debating about if religion kills culture. One sides argument was that religion only filters out the “bad” part of the culture, which is stuff like zina, riba, murder, believing in idols etc. On the other side, they were saying that religion also filters out “non-bad things”. (Men wearing jewelry, cultural clothing, certain cultural events, certain practices and more). What do you guys think? [Remember that if a religion kills a culture != the religion is bad.]
