Does wearing a hijab make you more religious than one who does not?

I've been seeing loads of tiktoks about this and how non hijabis are saying how someone who wears a hijab is not more religious than them. What is your thoughts on this?

you can't really judge based on one action. and its weird when people compare themselves to others i.e "well I don't wear a hijab but I'm more modest than some hijabis" you should only compare yourself to your self and how you could be doing better. hijabis that twerk is no excuse for not wearing a hijab. and only Allah can decide who is religious enough that's not really important imo everyone should just do their best and hope Allah forgives their shortcomings.... nobody is perfect

It is simple. If they are similar on all other aspects, and one of them wears jilbaab, then the one who is veiled adheres more to the islamic teachings and is, thus, "more religious". The question becomes problematic when they are not on par in all other aspects, which is often, if not always, the case.

People need to understand that those wearing jilbaab may not be better overall, but as far as the specific arena of concealing what Allah has ordered to be concealed is concerned, they are.

We should focus on our shortcomings and try to improve, and not try to belittle somebody´s efforts in one department because they lack in another. We will enter the grave alone.

a couple non hijabis arguments were that some hijabis go to the clubs and twerk. That non hijabis are more religious because they don't do that.
