Finally some people on this forum are talking sense! Regardless of how other countries feel about somalia. Nobody wants another state just randomly recognized. Even trumps allies don't have a real intrest in somalilands independence. And for it to happen it would have to be of trumps most major goals where he spends massive political capital on this issue. Now unless your an idiot you know there is no way he would ever care that much about this issus or be willing do that.

The only peope that disagree with these rumours are those that don't want to see Somaliland go and America is desperate for a port in Somalland. It could very well happen

It will never happen. Hypothetically speaking, it would be the worst possible timing, considering the SSC situation and the current events going on in Somaliland.

I genuinely believe is going to happen. USA needs a port and is eyeing on Berbera. Even if Cirro don't take ssc back it would still be enough for an independence. If America gets something they GET IT.
