The Renaissance started 816 years ago...it is time to get up with the times and stop being the laughing stock of the world.

Just look at Afghanistan which has been at war for much of its existence and its still by far has a better military then Somalia. We have no excuse..

If Somalia never had war our military would have look like this..

Every Politician in the somali parliament should be fired and hanged in public for being corrupt asf. We need real men to take charge in Somalia... We don't need Madows fighting for our homeland. That probably the worst insult in Somalia's history.

We must all turn our backs upon the horrors of the past and look to the future. We cannot afford to drag forward across the years to come hatreds and revenges which have sprung from the injuries of the past. If Somalis are to be saved from infinite misery, and indeed from final doom, there must be this act of faith in the Somali family, this act of oblivion against all crimes and follies of the past. Can the Somali people rise to the heights of the soul and of the instinct and spirit of man? If they could, the wrongs and injuries which have been inflicted would have been washed away on all sides by the miseries which have been endured. Is there any need for further floods of agony? Is the only lesson of history to be that mankind is unteachable? Let there be justice, mercy and freedom. The peoples have only to will it and all will achieve their heart's desire.

It just depends who your fought or you invaded you. Iraq and afghanistan was invaded by nato, the new governments donated weapons to them for their loyalty. Egypt fought isreal over sinai peninsula. In order not to start anymore conflicts between egypt and isreal, US gives them military aid every year and in return they cannot bat an eyelid to isreal. When was it the last time you heard egypt make noise about gaza?

Don't forget just because they have apache helicopters and f16 doesn't mean they are useful. They still have to buy the armaments and in war they can get depleted very quick. Imagine then Isreal against egypt and egypt runs out of ammunitions, you think the US will give them?
