Do they have no pride in themselves?
that's actually a positive development if it occurs Djibouti has all these bases to avoid being annexed by abysinnia or a they should arabise and keep their multiculturalist base.
Djibouti never was "francised" if you go to the francophone you'll see everyone speaking French In the city as there is too many tribes.Djibouti should de-Francisize and instead Arabize for our own benefit and future
we are surrounded by shitholes with no threat to Djibouti. We dont need to be 3beeds like sudan making a national identity of black arabs.Djibouti is a small country surrounded by larger neighbors, which makes it vulnerable to territorial pressures. Arabizing the nation could help establish a distinct national identity, making it less likely to be absorbed by Somalia, Ethiopia, or Eritrea. It could also unite the country, which is currently divided along clan lines, by promoting Arabic language and culture.
We have enough qaxootis from Yemen and Syria they're currently sitting in tents in Obock. Didn't boost the economy one bit. Adal and Awfat is Somali history and Djibouti as a nation of Somalis are natural heirs to it. Afar and yemenis have no claim to it.Arabization could attract skilled professionals and refugees from war-torn Arab countries like Yemen and Syria, offering them stability while reducing internal divisions. Additionally, Djibouti’s historical ties to the Sultanates of Adal and Ifat make it an ideal candidate for reconnecting with its Arab roots, strengthening both its cultural and economic position.
Djibouti is a city state named after the capital since that's where the whole population lives. It's like Singapore changing its name. And Awdal already is a region in Somalia with the historical city of Zelia which was the seat of the actual sultans for a while. With its strategic location on global trade routes, Djibouti could position itself as a key trade hub between Africa and the Arab world. A name change to something like "Adal" or "Awfat" would reinforce this new identity and heritage, while boosting economic and diplomatic ties.
Where the f*ck did Yahuuds come from?? Djibouti is for Somalis onlyDjibouti also had a diverse and multicultural hub, home to Somali, Afar, Arab, Ethiopian, and Jewish communities. The Sultanates of Adal and Ifat had Arabic as the court and business language, fostered a mix of ethnic and religious groups, while small trading communities of Chinese, Indian, and Arab merchants thrived in the port city. This diversity helped Djibouti become a key commercial link between Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
There is no Arab roots in Djibouti and we will never be annexed by the countries around us they are too focused on saving themselves from famineIf we want to reconnect with our pre colonial history and be seen as something more than a French creation we need to go back to our tradition.
TLDR: Arabizing Djibouti could protect it from annexation, unite the country, attract talent, reconnect with its historical Arab roots, and boost its role as a trade hub.
Guys what do you think and what are your opinions on this?
Do you think the 'Afar Question' will ever be solved in Djibouti?Djibouti never was "francised" if you go to the francophone you'll see everyone speaking French In the city as there is too many tribes.
In Djibouti city you cannot survive without af somali

Djibouti's identity is Somali, our national identity is shared with other somali. The minority Afar and Yemenis are the ones that try push a "Djiboutian identity" to try feel included in the country and cope with the fact that Somalis run shit.

They're either gonna be fully assimilated or keep rebelling every generation until they're pushed out completely by the government.Do you think the 'Afar Question' will ever be solved in Djibouti?
