so how do you think a frontier market which is still developing like ours will develop with rich foreigners sharing a pie of Somalia’s opportunities? this is the only part of EAC I don’t like. That and the rules about trade deal’s & sovereignty over ports

There are two concerns here;

Rich foreigners: Rich foreigners, will get pushed out by conglomerates in Somalia, or end up in partnerships. Somalis are competitive and fierce business people, so I don't worry about that.

Poor workers: We need skilled labourers, to train locals.

The real issue we need to look into is, who are these people, and why are they coming to Somalia.
