Egypt should share the Wealth of the Suez canal with the people of Yemen, Sudan Eritrea, and Somalia since egypt gains million of dollar a year from transit fee from the canal while internationals give us nothing for using the Bab Al mandeb.

Britain and France embarrassingly tried to reclaim the Suez canal in the 50s but got their ass handed to them and they had to retreat.See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suez_Crisis

To the victor belong the spoils.

nah, Isreal, Britain and France invade the Suez and had complete control over the canal. egypt under Nasser was completely humiliated what save them was americans who did want Europeans and Isreal having control and threathen it access to the canal so they pitch the struggle as a war for ending colonialism and champion the right of people to self determination.

the USA threatened to short the British pound in the international markets and this major threat was the main reason for Britain to retreat. Essentially this moment marked the end of the UK as a super power.

exactly, great power use all the weapons in their arsenal including economic sabotage, don't feel bad for the UK they keep their million of pounds they stole from their colonies, they a nuclear superpower, and they kept Kooh e noor diamonds they stole from india. if Britain was force to give back all it treasure that they stole, the british museum would be a glutted husks.

The Egyptians see their ownership of the Suez canal as a mark of national pride.

There's no way in hell they'll relinquish control of it to anyone, and they will never share their revenue with us either.

Let's be frank. If Somalia had ownership of the Suez canal, I wouldn't want to share it either.
