Also what i don't also like about these news reports is that they only have surface level understanding of the conflicts inside Ethiopia. They always offer rationalizations for the conflicts as mere power struggles between the largest ethnicities. When in reality it's rooted in a deeper genocidal historical and ideological culture shared by the Amhara, Tigray and Oromo. (This requires a thread or an entire series to breakdown)

You can tell that's the case because Somalis the 3rd biggest ethnic group in Ethiopia is the missing piece. Because we don't share that with them.

Notice Ogaden/Somali region is always missing from the reports on Famine and Economic problems:

The Somali Region is the most peaceful and developing region inside Ethiopia for almost 7 consecutive years.

It's all by their own making as well. No armed proxy groups, no foreign soldiers , no invasion from another country , no foreign airstrikes.

It's simply Ethiopians self -mutilitating and oppressing eachother the same way they have been doing since the middle ages. It's their culture and ideology at play, that has kept them poor, genocidal and backward for more than a millennia.

The bigger culprit is state ideology rooted in either medieval feudal/dirgo or gada culture (Oromummaa) as it is recently known as.

This has deepened with the racist ethnic federalist system, which reinforces a lot of hate politics.

I am always reminded of something said by Asfa Wossen Asserate the great nephew of Haile Selassie .



He is right. Ethiopia is a racist country built on ethnic divisions that is baked into it's governmental fabric.

I have no idea how a set up like that will stand for much longer.

This isn't surprising at all that Amhara uprised when the Oromo left their church, which Is where Amhara controlled them the most. Somalis tried to control them thru Islam which is the majority of Oromo well above 70% but that backfired as Oromo are crypto Muslim or at best Oromo first and Islam is secondary.

@Khaem this anti darod duli Issa lost his land a long time ago to Oromo and is holed up in xaafad issa in Dire dhaba its like Baraxley in Galkacyo while oromo control the majority of the city and a little amhara who flood in after oromo paves the way for land expansion.

I've heard rumours Geri Koombe are having issues with Jaarso who has joined Oromo like gurgure did in Dire Dhaba and welcomed them into that town.

The Jaarso are planning the same in Geri Kombe land which no Harti with blood should allow. Jigjiga is about to enter surrender mode to oromo and even allocating them positions and seats in Somali region govt.

Hargeisa, Bosaso, Garowe, Qardho and many other towns are jam packed with them(their setting up trojan oromo population to help assist oromo invasion in the near future). Abi Ahmed already wants SL Sea lol, he wants land too and sends oromos to flood PL and SL to begin land expansion for greater oromia in the future. Oromo are land hungry and sea hungry people, even haile Sellasie was an oromo descent and amhara by culture like alot of their leaders like abi Ahmed. Amhara use these oromo loyalist and ppl power to help amhara cause its not amhara doing anything.
